Ear Stud Designs `- Cylinder and Dandelion patterns

          Just to add beauty of dandelion to the cylindrical quilling technique.As mentioned in the previous blog - Fringed Flower Stud. prepare two flowers in colour of your choice.

Now start preparing the cylinders , roll the quilling paper as below .


Now tighten the coil as below.


Now prepare many tight cylinders like size (d) of your favourite colors.

Here you go, you can start preparing ur earrings , this is how i did them..

Quilling Jhumkas

This kind of Quilling requires a 3d pattern of quilling it into a roll.
Step1:
Quill normal tight coil
Step 2:
Slowly deepen the tight coil as shown below
 
Step 3: Now glue the inner part to make the cone steady.
Step 4: Now your are all set for preparing beautiful jhumkas , like below.

Double Fringed Flower

A small variation in the fringed flower, in this fold the paper and cut it sideways




Now we can make a stud by pasting the flower with the Ear Stud Finding.

Fringed Flower Stud

Fringed flower

Materials Needed :

Quilling strips - 5mm
Quilling strips - 2 mm
Quilling tool
Fringing Scissors
Glue
Crystal Gloss

How to Make:
1) Take a small bit of  Quilling strip 2 mm and paste it with Quilling strip 5mm.

2) Cut the 5 mm strips upto half vertically.

3) Now hold the strip in the quilling tool and start rolling.
4)Glue at the end.

5) Put it on a ear stud or put it on a hook.

6) Coat with glaze.

Quilling Rose Studs

1) Insert your quilling strip in the tool and make a single turn.
2) Twist the paper front ward.
3) Roll the tool.

4) Twist the paper front ward.

5) Now using a gum stick it .



Once the rose is created , stick it to the ear stud head with a glue gun and the "ROSE EAR STUD" is ready.
